Here are some pictures of my class playing at recess. They are really sweet kids (most of the time) and as you can see.....very cute! There are 19 four year olds in my class. It is a really fun age and I truly enjoy spending my days with them. They wear me out though.
In pre-k we teach them how to write all of their upper and lower case letters. We also teach them the sounds that each letter makes and get them ready for reading. By the end of the year, they can read and write short words! We also teach them numbers and counting, how to make patterns, estimation and all sorts of things. They are at school from 8-3 which is a long day for them but we do have nap for about 45 min.(thank goodness). I always say that I have the only job where I go to work and people are so excited to see me that they run up and give me hugs! It is very rewarding.

ok...I seriously can't believe your a teacher it feels like just yesterday we had to put a check mark on the white board for flicking our boogs during reading time.Oh to be a kid again just remeber you probably have some Karma coming your way for all the mischief we caused in school. I wouldn't change growing up with you for anything. 19 days...
