Phoenix for Labor Day

Saturday night at the Firesky hotel with the girls. Getting ready for a big night out to celebrate Jessie getting married!
Charlotte loved swimming with my dad!
Playing the piano at great gramma's house.
Here is Charlotte wearing the dress that Court, Kyle and I all wore for our one year pictures. She was such a wiggle worm though so my mom and I couldn't get any great pictures.

Charlotte's 1st Birthday!

Our little baby is one!!!! Courtney and Kyle came over on her actual birthday and we had cake and she opened a few presents. She wouldn't eat the cake I made her but she really enjoyed the presents! Drew and I got her a little chair and she loves it! A few weeks later we had her birthday party and that was very fun. Again, charlotte wouldn't eat her cake but she loved the presents haha!

Charlotte is walking which is exciting! She says, "mama, dada, duck, woof, papa (my dad) and hot." Her favorite foods these days are pretty much any fruit, grilled cheese, pasta with a little EVOO and parm cheese, steamed veggies, oatmeal and blueberry pancakes. She is just the happiest and cutest little baby! Drew and I could not be more in love!

On her actual birthday clapping after we sang happy birthday.
Her new chair.
New baby stroller from Court and Kyle (Coco & kiki as Charlotte calls them). Charlotte loves this thing!!!
Opening her presents.
Crying and pushing away her cake at her party.

Coronado 2011

Drew, Charlotte and I were just in Coronado for two whole weeks! The weather was perfect the entire time and we loved spending time with family. Charlotte loved the sand! The first day she wasn't so sure about it but by the end of the trip she was crawling down the beach trying to steel other kids sand toys! We celebrated Drew's 29th birthday there as well. We went to a great dinner on his actual birthday and another day went to Universal Studios which was really fun! I took a million pictures but posted just a few.
Charlotte was in the wagon in this picture and you can tell by her face that she loved it!

Charlotte's Baptism Weekend

Charlotte was finally baptized last weekend. It was such a special weekend and we were so happy that so many of our family members and friends were there to share Charlotte's big day with us! After the baptism we had everyone over for brunch. Here are some pictures:

Parents and Godparents (my brother Jake and Drew's cousin Jenny)

Charlotte wearing the same dress that my mom, all of my aunts, cousins, siblings and I wore!

Grilling at the house.

Yay Drew

Drew took the third part of the CFA test a few weeks ago. That night we had some friends over for tacos, beer and margaritas! It was a fun night!

Water Baby

I put Charlotte in her little baby pool for the first time and she loved it! She would crawl from side to side just laughing and smiling..... it was so cute! I think from the pictures you will be able to tell that she liked it.

Porter's 40th Birthday Weekend

Drew, Charlotte and I flew out to New York City for Porter's 40th birthday party. It was well worth the trip because we had such a great time! Lynn and Porter were such great hosts the entire weekend. On Friday we had a group dinner at a great little pizza place, Saturday was the big party and Sunday they hosted a Mother's Day brunch. Porter did not know we were coming so it was really fun surprising him!

On the roof top deck at Lynn and Porter's apartment.
Friday night dinner.
Charlotte loves her uncle Porter!

My friend Melanie and her husband watched Charlotte on Saturday so Drew and I could go to Porter's party. It was so fun seeing them and their two beautiful little girls. Here's a picture of the girls.
Yes, they are matching. This is the second time they have done this...... the first time was by accident, this time was planned haha. I just love Drew and Porter together! They are both so fun and they really bring out the best in each other!

This is the iPad cake that Lynn had made. It was unbelievable!
