Water Baby

I put Charlotte in her little baby pool for the first time and she loved it! She would crawl from side to side just laughing and smiling..... it was so cute! I think from the pictures you will be able to tell that she liked it.

Porter's 40th Birthday Weekend

Drew, Charlotte and I flew out to New York City for Porter's 40th birthday party. It was well worth the trip because we had such a great time! Lynn and Porter were such great hosts the entire weekend. On Friday we had a group dinner at a great little pizza place, Saturday was the big party and Sunday they hosted a Mother's Day brunch. Porter did not know we were coming so it was really fun surprising him!

My friend Melanie and her husband watched Charlotte on Saturday so Drew and I could go to Porter's party. It was so fun seeing them and their two beautiful little girls. Here's a picture of the girls.

Yes, they are matching. This is the second time they have done this...... the first time was by accident, this time was planned haha. I just love Drew and Porter together! They are both so fun and they really bring out the best in each other!

This is the iPad cake that Lynn had made. It was unbelievable!

House Projects

We just had our landscaping done in the front yard and we are so happy with it!!! We put in new shrubs, hydrangeas, flowers and a magnolia tree. We also replaced some of the sod. Book Club and Brunch

For those of you who don't know, I started a book club about a year and a half ago. We meet once a month and talk about the book for about five minutes. It is really just an excuse to drink, eat and gossip with the girls! We have read some really great books though. The favorites so far have been The Help and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (and the other two).

Chris, Nate and my dad were in town for the final four so we all got together for brunch at my house. I loved seeing them!

Bitter Sweet Trip Home

Charlotte and I flew to Phoenix for my uncle Jerry's funeral. We are all so sad about his passing but glad that he is no longer in pain. Jerry was a wonderful man and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was always happy and always willing to lend a helping hand. Although I wish I was home under different circumstances, it was very nice to see family and friends. I think I have the best family and I just love them all so much! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

We watched a movie outside at the Monte Lucia Resort. The movie was Roman Holiday and we ordered wine, food and a chocolate martini. We were all cozy under a blanket and had so much fun! Thanks for setting that up Lisa!

Drew and I just celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary! I can not tell you how blessed I am. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful, funny, hard working and handsome husband. Life just keeps getting better especially with our new little addition! Seeing Drew with her just melts my heart! Can't wait for many more years to come!
