Washington DC

Drew and I just got back from an eleven day trip to Washington DC, New York and Boston. DC was our first stop. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Our favorite part of DC was the night we went to Georgetown for dinner. It is an adorable little area with tons of shops and restaurants. We also looked at all of the monuments, which was fun but lots of walking for a 33-week pregnant lady and a guy with a hurt ankle! Drew sprained his ankle really badly and tore a ligament right before we left for our trip. Here are some pics from DC.

27 week ultrasound

Drew and I went for our 4D ultrasound today. It was very exciting. At first, the baby was facing my spine. They had me get up and do a few exercises. The moving around woke up the baby and it faced the camera-yay! Everything looks great and they confirmed the sex. The baby even smiled a few times and it was so cute!!! Right now the baby is a little over two pounds and around 15 inches long. I am in my third trimester and have 12 weeks and 3 days to go. We can't wait to meet out little bundle of joy! Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound.

Courtney's Visit and Easter

Courtney came in town late Wednesday night and just left this evening. It was so nice having her here but as always I was sad to see her go! We had a great time while she was here. We went out to lunches, did a little shopping, played bingo and went out one night. Here are a few pictures from our long weekend.

What's New With Drew

Drew has been very busy lately. He has been studying for the third and final part of CFA. He will take the test in early June. He also started in a basketball league which he loves! On top of his Wednesday night basketball league, he is also playing softball on Sundays. Drew has been busy at work and still loves his job. He is very lucky to work for such a great company. Drew has also been working on projects around the house, such as: texturing and painting walls, installing plumbing and soldering pipes in the bathroom, cutting holes in the walls to make repairs and then patching them up so the walls look good as new, and the list goes on. He just bought a miter saw and plans on putting crown moulding in the bedrooms. He is quite the little handy man and I love it!! He's learned all of it since we bought the house. Anyway, here are a few pictures from his last softball game.

Drew is the pitcher for his team. By the way, his team's name is "Where My Pitches At".

20 weeks

We had our big ultrasound last week and everything looks great. The heart, brain, stomach and everything was just as it should be so Drew and I are so happy! All we wanted was a healthy baby and so far "it" looks perfect. We didn't get any good pictures of the baby unfortunately. During the whole ultrasound it was facing my spine and had it's arms up by its face. They had me turn on both sides and they pushed on my belly but the baby didn't want to be photographed. We did get a good shot between the legs though. Drew and I found out the sex of the baby but many of you don't want to know so I will not spill the beans on the blog. If you do want to know the sex of the baby, call or email me. On Saturday Drew and I went to Janie and Jack and bought some new little clothes for the baby and it was so fun. All of the little tiny clothes are just too cute!

I am feeling great! My belly is really starting to get big. It's only maternity shirts now but I'm still wearing normal bottoms with my Bella band. You wear the band around your pants so you can leave them unbuttoned and they stay up. I am 20 weeks and can't believe that I am already half way done! Here are a few pictures of my growing belly.
