Charlotte 4 months

Charlotte is four months old now. She laughs a ton now and it's the cutest thing. Her favorite thing to do is play in her play yard. There is a mirror that hangs above her and she loves talking to herself and laughing. She also tried rice cereal for the first time. The pictures below will tell you all about it!
Sweet cheeks

"Oh that looks good, I want that!"
"I think I'm gonna like this."
"Well, it is a little messy."
"I changed my mind, I DO NOT like this. Stop feeding me mom!"
"Okay mom, now you're just making me mad!"
(isn't this the funniest picture)

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving in Phoenix. The food was delicious, the weather was perfect and we got to spend lots of time with family. It was a great trip! We also got to go to one of Jake's football games. His team was playing in the semi finals and they won their game in double over time! It was such a fun game although I almost had a nervous breakdown! They will play in the championship game this Saturday at ASU. Good luck Jake #5 and coach Stiak!!!

Halloween and 3 month old Charlotte

On the Saturday before Halloween Drew and I went to the third annual BOOz Ball. Sean's parents offered to babysit so we put Charlotte to bed and headed out! We had a great time but it was exhausting having to wake up with the baby the next morning! Drew and I threw together last minute costumes; we didn't think we would be going to the party until the week before when Sean's parents offered to babysit. I was Bree (from Desperate Housewives) and Drew was Brett Michaels. We both only had to buy wigs.

Charlotte is three months old now. She has changed a lot! She is so strong and sturdy now! I think she will roll over anytime. She has started sleeping on her side and moves around a ton at night. Twice she has woken up with her feet where her head was (a complete 180)! She still isn't sleeping through the night. She goes to be at 8 and sleeps until about 4am. She gets up just to eat and then sleeps until about 7. She just gets more fun the older she gets! She smiles a ton and is just a really good and happy baby!

These next two pics are so funny (and cute)!

The big 5-0!!!!

Charlotte and I were just in Phoenix for my parents 50th birthday/Oktoberfest party. It was so fun! There were about 100 people there and they had a great band. The weather was perfect the entire weekend!

Traveling alone with the baby was actually pretty easy! Charlotte was an angel on the plane rides! Lets hope she's as good next month when we fly with her again!

50 and looking good!

Coach Stiak, Jake and their #1 fan!
Jake won his game! He is the star of his team! Go Chiefs! Notice even Charlotte has an orange and blue bow that my mom and sisters had made for her! Charlotte slept through the whole game!
Mama doll and Charlotte. This is my moms old doll. They look alike huh!

Fall Fun

Most of the pictured below are from our recent trip to Oklahoma. We were there for a wedding and to visit family.

Charlotte at the pumpkin patch in Oklahoma. we were there with Paula, Bob, Maggie, Rob, Robby and baby Will. It was such a cute place!
Here is Drew in the petting zoo feeding the little Donkey. A few minutes after this picture was taken Drew let this little donkey out of the gate! He tried to grab him as he was heading out of the gate but he got away. Drew then tried to entice the donkey back in by holding out a hand full of food but the donkey as Drew said, "was free and not looking back." We were all just laughing at Drew! It took two farm employees to capture the donkey. Luckily they said that was not the first time he escaped.

Charlotte with her cousins Blake and Tyler. It was so cute..... Tyler just loved her. I was in the other room trying to get her back to bed and she was crying. Tyler came in and said. "ohhhh" then started rubbing her head and kissing her cheeks. It was the sweetest thing!

Charlottes first time to church.
Sorry Drew, I couldn't resist posting this picture. I found Drew sleeping like this on the couch after church. Tired new dad haha!

Charlotte Two Months

Charlotte is two months old. Although for me, it feels like she's been here much longer! She has been the best little baby. She is never really fussy unless she's hungry or gets over tired. She has started to smile a lot and it is just the cutest thing! I think she gets more adorable everyday. She is getting so big too (about 13 pounds). She holds her head up really well and feels much sturdier than she used to. She is not sleeping through the night yet but usually only gets up once so she's doing pretty good. Charlotte loves looking at her mommy and daddy. She also loves her nightly baths and her swing. Drew and I feel so lucky to have this perfect, sweet little baby girl! Here are a few of her most recent pictures.

Charlotte has been trying for weeks to suck her thumb. Usually she just ends up sucking on her knuckle or her palm. Lately she's been pretty good at getting her thumb in her mouth but can't keep it in there for very long. Here's a picture of her trying.
Here she is dressed up for the OU Texas game. Her bow says OU in rhinestones.
When I am not holding her, feeding, her, changing her diaper, burping her or doing her never ending laundry, I am watching her nap on this. It's my new favorite show!
